Please note: This document sets out our general terms. Specific commercial terms are set out in the proposal, quotation or agreement for each engagement, which takes precedence. When we change this document, we update the date shown above.
This Privacy Policy explains how MAHTECH SOLUTIONS (“MAHTECH”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you visit this website, contact us, submit a project enquiry or use our software and services.
We aim to follow applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as and when its provisions apply.

Data within our software products
Some MAHTECH products — for example INVENTRA Medical — are installed and operated on the client’s own local computer or system. In such deployments, the business data entered into the software is stored on the client’s system and belongs to the client. The client is responsible for that system, its security and its backups, as set out in the applicable licence or service agreement.
Where MAHTECH accesses a client’s system or data to provide installation, support or maintenance, we do so only for that purpose and treat the information as confidential.
Client portal, support tickets, reviews and referrals
If you are a MAHTECH client and use our client portal or app, we also process:
- Account details — your email address (used to send one-time sign-in codes), name and phone number
- Support tickets — the messages and details you send us, used to resolve your issue and improve our software
- Reviews — your rating, review text, and the display name and city you choose. Approved reviews are published on our website and may be used in our marketing, as you agree when submitting them. You can ask us to remove your published review at any time
- Referrals — the name, business and phone number of a person you refer. You must have that person’s permission before sharing their details. We use them only to contact that person about our products, and delete them on request
Portal data is stored with our hosting and database provider under appropriate security measures, and is visible only to you and to MAHTECH SOLUTIONS.
Sharing of information
We may share information only where necessary:
- With service providers who help us operate our business (for example, email or hosting providers), under appropriate confidentiality obligations
- Where required by law, regulation, court order or a government authority
- To protect our rights, property or safety, or that of others
- With your consent
Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. As a general guide:
- Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement — up to 2 years from our last contact
- Client records (agreements, licence and support records) — for the duration of the relationship and up to 8 years afterwards
- Financial records (invoices, receipts, payment records) — for the period required under Indian tax and accounting laws, generally 8 years
Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
